We liked rooms with beautiful view for the same money. the location was BEST POSSIBLE and nice, very close to the town walls and gates, Ávila and nature. Everything was absolutely fine.

Efficient staff, well furnished room, in general I really enjoyed this modern hotel. Location: the property was not far from the town walls. And it was relatively near Long John Silver's, ate there couple of times. The provided service was great! Could use their free parking.
The setting was difficult to find.

I loved the room with a beautiful view, especially considering the price I paid. My bed was very comfortable. Having both a bath and a shower in the room was a great added bonus. the location was perfect, surrounded by nature. It was very convenient being so close to the town walls, gates, and Avila itself.

big, beautiful room, very comfortable bed.. very nice spa and charming person in charge
The restaurant is simply not up to the hotel. Dishes on the dinner menu that are not well cared for.. Wine list with DO Rivera del Duero with two wines and they didn't have either. We ordered a family wine that was quite good but when we finished we had some left over and asked if we could take it up to the room they said yes but they didn't even have the detail of offering us two glasses (we remember that it is a four star hotel). Above all we want to emphasize that at the beginning of the dinner and as a starter we asked for a portion of Iberian ham (really .. or Iberian bait ...) at least if you have a sliced ham in an envelope let it temper before serving it on a plate, we felt cheated and did not claim because we were going a night of relaxation and did not want to lose time or energy with it. 22 euros for a portion of Serrano ham. I would tell you as an advice to announce it like this in the menu JAMÓN SERRANO so that people do not feel cheated, because to us this detail changed the perspective of the hotel that is a wonder.

The best of all are the rooms, spacious and pleasant with a very comfortable bed and a large bathroom with shower and bathtub. The breakfast was correct, and one of the waiters was always at hand so that I never missed anything.
To spend a day is not bad, I expected more than one Fontecruz. It is a hotel that given its distance from the city, its greater income is from the numerous events that it does throughout the year, so that is something that can be noticed in the maintenance, something left in the paint, carpets.. grass of the pool is completely dry, there were no sunbeds, to go out to the pool you have to go through a room completely upside down with a horrible picture. tables in the restaurant are very narrow and imitation leather tablemats do not make the dinner more comfortable. latter, for the cost of the menu, is not bad, although the waiters service is a bit "empanao" (like the lifeguard) and flamingos serve them frozen inside. best thing is that because of the mistake, we were invited to the drink and coffee. Quite a detail, really.

The hotel is in a very quiet place about 3 km from Avila. It is well communicated with the center, by car you are in 10 minutes. The staff is very friendly. We were a couple and booked a junior suite. For amplitude to spare. But the room is a bit old. The carpet on the floor doesn't help much, I think nowadays to put carpet is a delay. In the room we found ourselves in a corner with a big hair ball. The pillows are toys. The shower, besides the water coming out of the bathroom was of contrasts, as soon as it was cold as it burned you. The breakfast, buffet, normalito, everything was rich but they did not have anything spectacles. As in many hotels the glasses for the juice are almost shot. I don't think I went back to this hotel, although I can't say it was bad. It's just that it has major flaws.

From the Spa:. right. From the restaurant:. dinner was VERY good, in quality and quantity, breakfast buffet was very complete. From the room:. nice decoration, beautiful views, big bathroom, big bed, very comfortable mattress. service people and waiters are very nice
The spa:. 1. gave towels instead of a bathrobe,. 2. in the men's changing room not a single locker of the 40 that were there, . 3. there was no soap in the spa showers. 4. There was only one wooden stool where two men could sit. 5. The women's dress was not particularly clean. From the restaurant. A little slow to serve (from the time we sat down until we finished dinner it took more than 1h30). From the room:. 1. Some more powerful light was missing. To bathe, they left us a few sachets of soap and shampoo, which were insufficient and did not reflect the quality of a four-star hotel, and coming from a spa where there was no soap, ... 3. The slightly thin pillow

The hotel's stunning exterior and well-maintained garden create a jaw-dropping first impression. The spacious and comfortable rooms and bathrooms, complete with a super comfy bed, ensured a mind-blowing sleep. No noise disturbances at night. The perfect breakfast provided everything needed to start the day. The location, ideal for those with a car, offers free parking and easy access to Avila town. The poolside towels were a super touch. The hardworking and pleasant staff were always ready to assist.

It was the best hotel that I had been in Spain. The room was wonderful, very clean and big. They have a wire internet that working very well. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and speaking English. It is very quiet, peaceful hotel, and very good for relaxation. I could work late on nice desk without any interference.
The address of the hotel is bit misleading as it is not in Avila and the gps taking you to the Fontecruz road in the city, only when I remembered that it near the golf area I found it very easily.

Good location if you are looking for tranquility and open space with swimming pool and golf (whoever likes it). On the outskirts of Avila but only about 5 minutes long from the centre (by car). room we had (top) was a big size, bed was huge. bathroom was big and clean
It is in urgent need of aesthetic remodeling,. corridors of the rooms and rooms have an "old" and very "busy" look. Carpeting in general is very worn, with a lot of tute, as well as the armchairs in the rooms. Furniture that is too sober and has an old-fashioned appearance. Small TV (for the size of the room) and old, also the night I was not working. It seems that the general antenna had been damaged the day before by the wind, of course they took it easy to fix it.
